In case you're not familiar with Kings Island (www.pki.com), it's a really huge theme park in Cincinatti! And it's a lot of fun! I just went for the first time last year! And this year, I brought the same friend along as I did last year, so that meant even more fun!
When we arrived, the first thing we did was go on The Viking to prepare for the more intense rides. Right after that, of course, we went on like a billion roller coasters! And we did other things, too. It was so much fun!
However, one thing wasn't so fun. At the waterpark, Boomerang Bay, I had one of the most intense weirdest feelings ever. Everytime I got out from the water, my lower legs would start weighing me down and I could barely walk on them. This has been going on since about last fall, but it was even more so that day. However, I just ignored it and continued having fun. However, at the end of one of the racing waterslides, as soon as I got out from the water, my head just started killing me! I hadn't bumped it or anything, but it felt like I had a football thrown right at my head (it's happened and it hurts!!). The lifeguards noticed immediately and took me to the first aid station and my friend tagged along for moral support (hey, it's what friends do!). And by this point, my legs felt so bad that it was like they had become paralized. I seriously couldn't move them at all since they felt so weighed down, like an elephant was sitting on them. Yeah, that's how they felt (except for the bones being crushed!). However, I recovered after about an hour and we continued about our day, going on more roller coasters like nothing had happened. lol
Oh, and here's the results for my tenth and final year of 4-H. At the township fair, I received all blue ribbons and at the county fair, I received three blues and one red. So it wasn't bad. I also got a trophy for being one of the only tenth year members in the state!
Oh, I'm still not sure exactly when I'm going down to Houston (if we are) but I'll be in Canada around Labor Day!!!
Well, I hope to be back on more soon withen the next few weeks. Sorry about all this! There's still a lot to do!
